A very belated Happy New Year to you all, I hope that I find everyone in good health and that the first few weeks of the year have treated you well. I apologise that the first blog of 2009 hasn’t been posted until the 21st of January but I have only just returned from Australia and if I’m completely honest, real estate and the economy have not been at the forefront of my mind. However, I’m back in the office now and despite the relentless media attack on our economy I am quietly optimistic about the year ahead.
Investment opportunities will exist in any market, but now is the time in which the most exciting opportunities will present themselves. To quote Warren Buffet - “When the masses are greedy be frightened, but when the masses are frightened be greedy!” – never has a sentence been more apt and with the right research I believe we can find some interesting angles to take advantage of the current economic climate. This year you will see Property Frontiers spreading its portfolio, offering a much wider range of products and investments, and with your feedback I hope to provide you with the information you require to help with your investment decisions.
